    Here is a collection of earlier works. It was during this time that I began to explore oil painting spend most of my time honing the handling of the medium through experimentation and disciplined practice. I began by delving into traditional techniques such as glazing, carefully building translucent layers to create depth and luminosity. During this time, my mian focus was on understanding the anatomy of the human figure, studying the subtleties of form, light, and proportion to attempt to bring lifelike accuracy to the subject matter. These formative years marked my growing curiosity about the interplay between technical skill and creative expression, but ~I wanted more.
    As I slowlty gained confidence in the medium, I decided to show my work at numerous exhibitions. Eager to challenge myself further, I pursued advanced studies in classical realism in France, where I was thrown right into the rigor of traditional European methods. This experience allowed me to push my boundaries as an artist, refining my eye for detail while deepening my understanding of composition, value, and timeless artistic principles. This gallery features a sample of pieces to showcase my roots, where I cam from and where I was headed early on in my career.
